Ullstorp Arabians is situated in beautiful Österlen, Skåne, in the very south of Sweden close to both Denmark and Germany. The farm consists of 14 ha of land, out of which 9 ha are big open paddocks and pastures where the horses roam i heards i summer, and at daytime in winter. The rest of the land is used for growing hay. In the stables there are 21 horse boxes, out of which a few are being let.
Apart from arabians we also have 1 swedish riding horse and a small family of shetland ponies.
The arab horses mean the world to us, and our goal is to use thourouhly choosen bloodlines in order to breed beautiful, strong and healthy horses with much carisma and good temperament. We do consider quality much more important than quantity.
We ride regularily both at home and for instructor, and educate the foals and youngsters to be well handled, trained and ridden. A couple of horses are also active in the racing sport. The "Mums" are being excersized under saddle to be kept fit and happy, except for when highly pregnant and newly delivered.
Breeding takes time, but every time a new born foal comes into the world it's worth all the hard work, the waiting and the worries. If the baby fulfilles your expectations....fine, that's all wonderful, but every new little life coming into this world is a true miracle.
